I was born and raised in Southern California. Consider myself a later bloomer. When I was 24 years old, I decided to fly from the Gomez nest by accepting a work opportunity for which I had to move to Tempe, Arizona. I learned and developed so much in as little as 13 months. In 2020, a new work opportunity was offered to me. With excitement, I accepted and moved to my dream location, the Greater Seattle Area. Moving to the Evergreen State in the middle of the pandemic was challenging. The Seattle Freeze is REAL! However, I am happy where I am located because the climate and the landscapes compliment my personality, and that is what genuinely feels like home.

Buddy was born on July 25, 2022 and I was able to bring him home on September 23, 2022. Here is a little backstory.

Summer 2022 was CHAOTIC. Between facing absurdity in my workplace and curveballs thrown to my professional development, I knew I needed a healthy solution to find fulfillment and happiness. What better way than to adding a furry member to the family? The companion search was not easy though. I had contacted the owners of a website that claimed they had Maltese and Yorkshire Terrier puppies. Truth be told, I was SCAMMED! When I realized the jerks were playing games, it was already too late. Nevertheless, I believe it was all worth it because the series of events made me cross paths with Buddy and I would not change what occurred one bit.

My career path has been an interesting one. In 2017, I graduated from California State University San Bernardino with a Bachelors in Sociology. Post graduation, my goal was to complete the pre-requisites to become a Registered Nurse and further pursue a career in anesthesiology. My true passions came afloat when I obtained a role in Human Resources at Amazon. The metrics and the rhythm of business inspired me to pursue greater education. In 2021, I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Masters in Business Management with concentrations in HR Management and Organizational Development. My professional experience ranges between HR strategy, data analytics, global stakeholder management, product management and designing creative content. Although I am pleased with my educational path and my growth at Amazon, a gap remains between myself and my aspirations.

For years, I have known something had to be done to reach maximum fulfillment in my career, but I was having a difficult time discovering how I can attribute all of my passions to a career path that will drive me towards long term success. In May 2023, it hit me. Buddy inspired me to start a business in the pet industry to help other dog parents in the world achieve productivity while also successfully developing their dogs and further solidifying their relationships. BUDDYROO, LLC became official as of June 07, 2023 and soon after, upon extensive research, I was able to put together the Human-Canine Index which is the sole concept of BUDDYROO. Buddy and I are going full speed ahead and we are excited to change the lives of our community.

In September of 2024, our company BUDDYROO was rebranded to BUDDYUNO, LLC. After a long struggle and working hard to come to an agreement with our opposition, we were obligated to let go of our core identity. However, we are grateful that we were able to pivot in a swift manner to keep our presence intact with the concept of "UNO," or ONE, representing the unity between dog and human. Rebranding is a challenging process to any company. However, with hard work and dedication, success much closer than we think. And so, segments of our magazine and videos will be upgraded with the "BÖ" prefix which represents that first and last letters of our brand. While BUDDYROO remains in our hearts, BUDDYÜNO is here for the long shot to make the impact in human-canine lifestyle.

App development is progressing smoothly, but our roadmap towards success remains HEAVY, and there is significant motivation to accomplish our milestones. Our primary focus is releasing our content to dog parents out there seeking meaningful and reputable resources. The BUDDYÜNO Magazine editions are scheduled to be published on the 25th of each month on BDYU Mag. Stay tuned to our YouTube channel as we are excited to release video footage of our day to day activities and how BUDDYÜNO is growing. With time, we are also going to apply modern technology with enhanced recommendations based on our Sovereign Anatomy principles.
